THE SHOPS at Atria: Part I

The Shops at Atria by the Ayala Land Inc. officially opened five months ago. Located at Brgy. San Rafael, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, it features local and established restaurants, retail, and service shops. Some of these shops include BPI, Salon de Rose, Mercury Drug, and 7-Eleven.

Overlooking the mini plaza. Atria at its early stages.

The concept of the place is that of an open garden (like Bonifacio Global City in Manila and Ayala Northpoint in Bacolod) with a mini plaza at its center where some events are held. The place is located few minutes away from SM City Iloilo, Plazuela de Iloilo, and Smallville Complex.

FOODTRIPPIN: Birthmonth Celebration

I've been busy lately with work, but not busy enough to celebrate my birthday for one whole month! It took a lot of planning to meet everybody's schedule, but it was worth it. The bond and love, and of course, good food just made it extra special. Below are glimpses of where we had been for the past month. Some places may be old, most are new. Hope you could get some ideas for your next food destination! (You may check out Everything Iloilo's Facebook page here because I regularly post photos or updates there. Thank You!)

FOODTRIPPIN: ASIAN SPOON Flavors of Southeast Asia

One of the first to open at The Shops at Atria by Ayala Land Inc. Donato Pison Avenue is Asian Spoon. I heard that it is also under the same management as Cilantro Vietnamese Restaurant. The restaurant offers flavors from Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam (these are the only countries that I can remember listed on their menu).

FOODTRIPPIN: OLÈ Spanish Tapas Bar and Restaurant

A good friend invited us to try out the new restaurant he saw at Robinson's Mall named Spanish Tapas Bar. We immediately said yes because it was that time when you just have to meet, to talk about your lives just to let the stress out, and because we got all curious and wanted to try some new dishes. Then came Easter Sunday, which gave us the time and reason for such gathering.

Foodtrip Around the City: HEAVENLY Cafe and Pastries

It has been eight months since my last post. Hehehe. I've been busy with work, managed to have that foodtrip with friends, but unfortunately haven't had the luxury of editing, uploading, and making posts. So even though my posts are late, let me still offer you a glimpse of the places in the city. Photos by Samsung Galaxy S5 (i love the cam! Click here to read about the review of S5 camera) and edited with the Camera 360 app (they have new filters that i'm so hooked with).

HEAVENLY CAFE AND PASTRIES
They have delicious cheesecakes and their Matcha Green Tea Latte is great! They also serve pasta and sandwiches.

STUCKERS RESTO: Refreshing Pastels!

Thanks much to social media (well, mostly Facebook) that I get to discover places that are unique, have refreshing themes, and that I can fall in love with. Stuckers Resto in Mandurriao is definitely in my list.

Ain't the birds cute? ^_^

(This is a long-forgotten post ^_^)
It's Labor Day and I found myself thinking of eating at Chico Shade in Sta. Barbara after I've seen pictures of it online. Besides it's just less than a minute away from home so I made my way to it for lunch.

CAFFE ITALLIANNI: Delizioso!

A new addition to the City's expanding list of flavor experience is Caffe Itallianni, a coffee joint in Robinson's Place, which offers Italian coffee and flavor to the Ilonggos.

INDULGE in DULGIES

After the much-needed shopping in SM Delgado (yes, much needed but it hurt my purse >_<) I went to Dulgies, a cafe and desserts shop that sells homemade baked goodies, with a friend to do some catching up and also to fill the hungry belly :)

Buto't Balat Native Dishes and Seafood Menu

One of the most popular restaurants in Iloilo City, Buto't Balat serves Seafood, Filipino, and Asian Fusion food. They have three branches: in Jaro Plaza, Diversion Road, and Solis St. City Proper. Take a look at their menu, and click here to find out more about Buto't Balat.

BUTO'T BALAT: A Sunday with the Oldies :)

As was customary of my mother, she would always ask us children where to eat after Sunday mass. I suggested Buto't Balat since I have thought about eating there for days now, and so we had an early dinner at their Jaro branch.

MATTHEW'S BURGER CAFE: Burgers from around the world

I've always dreamed of traveling abroad. However due to financial limit this will stay as a dream for awhile ^_^. Good thing Matthew's Burger Cafe will let me experience other countries even if only through their burgers. Hehe.

MOYEORA KOREAN RESTAURANT: Let's Enjoy Korean Food!

I've never joined the bandwagon when Korean fad started, because I was hooked with Taiwanese drama (who doesn't remember F4 and Meteor Garden?!). Although there are some Korean dramas that I've watched and enjoyed, still I thought it was overrated. And I think we are being invaded by Koreans!

But one day my sister showed me some pictures of their eat-out in a Korean restaurant in Manila, and I couldn't help but salivate @_@. I saw the Kiyomi craze in Showtime, and actually a friend has mentioned in the past that Korean food is actually good, so I decided to try Korean with friends in Moyeora Korean Restaurant ^_^.

SOUTH PARK GRILL, Guimbal Iloilo

South Park Grill

I am familiar with the name South Park Grill because we used to frequent the southern part of Iloilo (for its beaches and some business) and can see the restaurant as the jeepney zooms by. But since it has opened some years ago I never did got a chance to experience it. And so this day came.
