The city's pride and the country's best tourism event Dinagyang Festival was launched three months ago and, with its highlight on January 25-27, 2012, will once again honor Sr. Sto. Nino through a colorful celebration on its 45th year.

Awarding Ceremony Freedom Grandstand
As of November 2013, five groups have confirmed their participation in
the Kasadyahan Festival (with maximum of fifteen participants) while
eleven tribes have confirmed for the Ati-Ati tribe competition, which
includes the Panayanon, Ilonganon, Atub-Atub, and Salognon. Dinagyang
Ati 2012 winner was Tribu Pan-ay, which unfortunately will not be able
to join, together with Tribu Paghidaet.
The performances will be judged in four areas: Iloilo Freedom Grandstand, Iloilo Provincial Capitol, Quezon-Ledesma Streets, and Ma. Clara Street. Tickets for seats in these judging areas will be available by December 10, will cover the two-day higlight, and prices are as follows:
