STANLEY TALABAHAN: Where Friends Have Good Times

view of Guimaras Island

Villa, Iloilo City is known for a lot of things: Fireworks capital, being the Flower Capital, Dinagyang Siopao, and Paraw Regatta. And because it is located beside the Villa beach, naturally you'll see a lot of seafood restaurants overlooking the island of Guimaras, and some of these famous restos are Tatoy's, Erning's, Punta Villa, and Breakthrough. And farther along the road, you'll see clusters of small seafood restaurants which has gained popularity because of their sumptuous and affordable menus...

One such place is STANLEY TALABAHAN, a place where our barkada used to frequent during our college days. We were introduced to this place by our friend Love, who one day while killing time (and mosquitoes) at school with nothing else to do, invited us to "manalaba sa Villa". The place serves the usual: grilled pork and chicken barbecues, grilled squid, grilled fish, pork chop and liempos, shrimp, and the all-time favorite talaba...

This place has gained popularity among families and friends, especially among students who are on a budget (just like us!).

all-time favorite talaba

For fun, they also offer the favorite past time of us, the Videoke. This place is also ideal for social gatherings because it has a wide and clean interiors, and their second floor serves just that...

Indeed every time we eat here it's always fun. With good food (especially talaba), good ambiance, and great companions, what more could we ask for?! ^_^
